Outpouring Of Support Wraps Up The Season Of Giving

2016 was another tough year for Calgarians and the Calgary Food Bank continued to experience unprecedented demand. But as we close the books on the holiday season, we can humbly say that you were unprecedentedly generous.

Today is Family Literacy Day

Today is Family Literacy Day

Child literacy is such an important issue that unfortunately doesn’t get enough attention. We are proud of our relationship with Calgary Reads and the Book Bank program which ensures that clients that visit the Food Bank have access to quality books for their children.

In the spirit of reconciliation, the Calgary Food Bank acknowledges that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
