The holiday season is also a time to think about others and for many, food and fundraising for the Food Bank has been a part of their annual holiday traditions.
It’s 6 a.m. and the Calgary Food Bank looks quiet from the outside. Inside the 60,000 square foot warehouse, volunteers and staff are gearing up to take on another day. While most Calgarians are still greeting the morning, Food Bank drivers are out and about gleaning viable food from stores in every quadrant of the city.
