Online Request Process

We have made changes to the online booking process.
Please note, the Calgary Food Bank can assure you that your information is secure and is not shared with with any third party. The Calgary Food Bank adheres to the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Canadian Privacy Act.
If you want to pick up your food hamper at a satellite location, you need to request your hamper through our Hamper Request Line at 403-253-2055. We recommend phoning mid-week from 5 – 7 pm to get the shortest wait times.
In order to book online, you will need to:
- Have access to the internet and a valid email address.
- Have the full name, date of birth and gender for everyone on the hamper request.
- Pick your hamper up at the main warehouse (5000 11 Street SE).
- Have your hamper number ready when you come to pick up your hamper.
IMPORTANT!
IF you do NOT receive an email, note that your hamper HAS been booked. Call 403-253-2055 to receive the confirmation QR Code. This line can be busy and you may have to remain on hold until a volunteer can provide verification.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make special requests?
We are unfortunately unable to accommodate special requests via this form. If you would like to request a celiac hamper, baby items, or pet food, then please do so when you arrive.
What if I don’t have the ID information for other people in my household?
If you do not enter the ID information for your other household members, they will not be included in your hamper request.
What income and expenses do you consider?
We consider all income sources over the last 30 days. Expenses include:
• Rent or mortgage payments, including house insurance and property taxes
• Utilities such as electricity, heating, and water
• Phone and internet bills
• All childcare or child support payments
• Out-of-pocket medical expenses like dental, eyecare, and prescription drugs
How long does the online process take?
It will take a few minutes per member of your household to fill out the form.
